Abia state Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has tasked Christians in the state to reflect the character of Jesus Christ in their day to day dealing with their neighbors.
He also urged them to be fair with their associates at work in line with the injunction of Jesus which says "Love your neighbor as you love yourself".
He spoke in Umuahia, the state capital during an event organized by the Church of Jesus Christ of latter saint to guide christains on Christmas.
The Governor who was represented by his chief of staff, Chief Anthony Agbazuare, pointed out that Jesus' birth was miraculous, adding that every christain must believe in God and expect his miraculous touch in their lives.
He commended the church for their commitment towards the propagation of the Gospel of Christ in Abia state and Nigeria and her unique ways of organizing her members to do the work of God.
He urged christains to start the transformation of the society by their own character.
Earlier the National Public affairs of the Church Ikpe George Nkanang, said the event was aimed at directing members of the church and others on the program and activities to observe from December to the Christmas day and beyond.
