NAOWA COORDINATOR RECEIVE THREE FIRST BABY OF THE YEAR




The Nigerian Army Officer's Wife Association(NAOWA) Abia chapter on Wednesday welcome three new born babies at the 14 Brigade Medical Center Ohafia.

The codinator Mrs Abiola Kumapayi, who led the team also made cash and gift donations to the babies and their mothers, as well as other sick patients at the centre.

She said, "Today is a special day. Babies born on this day are special children”.

“We are here to celebrate and show love to all babies born today”.

Brid Gen. Solomon Kumapayi,
and  other officers of the command  who accompanied the NAOWA team to the visit admonished the patients to be happy and celebrate because better days are ahead.

Kumapayi, thanked Maj. Njoku for taking the delivery of the babies,adding that the babies were special children.

He commended the NAOWA Coordinator and her management staff for reaching out the new born babies.


Kumapayi, also congratulated the mothers of the newly born babies,adding that the children are special to the medical center.

Beneficiaries of the NAOWA gesture for the year 2020 were, Mrs Amaka Kenneth, Mrs Rumassau Abdulhimid and Mrs Grace Uduma who gave birth to the babies.

The babies were added into families of two soldiers currently serving at the North east over insurgency and a civilian.

Highlights of the visit was presentation of gifts to various mother's by Mrs Abiola Kumapayi, coordinator NAOWA Abia State.
