Treaders in Umuahia the Abia state capital has complied with the directives of the state Government to vacate the city centre popularly known as Isi-gate.
Recall that the state had ordered the traders to leave the area towards the end of last year.
But the traders in peaceful protest had begged the state Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, to allow them do their end of year sales (season) before leaving the centre.
They Particularly vowed to vacate the area on the eve of December 31, 2019.
The request was granted by the Governor, who understands what season meant for Igbo treaders.
