The Abia State Police command has arrested sergeant Chinatu Onyema, who killed two people in Aba the Commercial hub of the state two weeks ago.
The State Police command had declared Onyema, wanted last week.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state Mr Geoffrey Ogbonna, told our correspondent on Monday that he was arrested on Saturday in Akunakpu village within Isiala Ngwa police division.
He added that the suspect is currently facing orderly room trial after which he would face prosecution in Court.
The cops with force No. 461624 who was formerly attached to the department of operations in the state Police headquarters in Umuahia, was on a special duty at Crunchies Fried Chicken Ltd in Aba.
It was gathered that he shot the deceased people on constitution crescent road when he went to attend to a distress call by a driver with Crunchies Fried Chicken Ltd identifed as Njoku Uzoma, without authorization.
