Abaribe lauds Abia law maker for investing in education

 


The Senate minority leader Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, has commended the member representing Ibeku East state Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly Chief Chukwudi Apougo, for investing in education in the state.


Speaking during the opening of the Danijoy international  Schools Secondary section, Abaribe, said investigating in education grantees a better future for the children who are the leaders of tommorow.


He said, "I didn't have a father who had so much land to give me, but he gave me education and  that's what has brought to where I'm today as the Senate minority leader.


My prayer is that future

Governors senators, Medical doctors, engineers, and Journalists will come out of this schools".


Also speaking the Abia State Commissioner for Trade and Investment  Dr. Cosmos Ndukwe,urged Intending investors  to exploit the friendly business environment in Abia State and invest hugely in the state.


He pointed out that investing in education has potentials of reducing unemployment rate in the country.


Ndukwe, hinted that the State has continued to present herself as an investment friendly state to all ready to do business, urging all wishing to explore the serenity of Abia environment to go ahead without hesitation. 


He commended the Governor  Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, for providing an enabling environment for investors, stressing that the environment is big enough to accommodate people from different walks of life.


Ndukwe who was a former Deputy speaker of Abia state House of Assembly lauded the brains behind Danijoy International Schools, for the edifice, noting that the facility synchronises with the idea of catching them young as it has all students need to excel.


The Principal of the Secondary Section, Mrs Theresa Onyekachi, said Danijoy is a value based school that has modern facilities students need to accomplish and acquire sound and qualitative education.


She said learning should be made enjoyable, participatory, informing that the school has adequate security, health bay, ICT facility that will assist students in an ICT world, stressing  that if schools should re-open today, Danijoy is ready as the classes are spacious and meets  all COVID-19 protocols outlined by the government.


The Principal advised parents to bring their wards to Danijoy, reiterating that their fees are affordable just as they operate with the British curriculum.
