Abia youth forum seeks Agbazuere's recall to office

A group known as Abia youth forum has joined in the call for the recall of Chief Anthony Agbazuere, who was suspend as the chief of staff to the Abia state Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.

The group in a solidarity rally at the Abia state Government House on Monday urged Ikpeazu, to pardon Agbazuere and restate him back to office as his chief of staff.

The members of the group had displayed playcards with the following inscriptions, "One love Okezie and Agbazuere"

Dede Ukwu biko recall and Padon ACB for us,

"Please give Oweh one more chance, The younths wants him back" among others.

While coveying their message to the secretary to the state Government Barr. Chris Ezem, the leader of the group Mr. Obiukwu Chibuzor, pleaded for the recall of Agbazuere while kneeling down together with members of his group.

He said," We are here in solidarity on behalf of Chief Agbazuere who was suspended from office as the Chief staff to the Governor.

"We are pleading that the Governor should forgive him and bring him back to office because no human being is perfect.

"We promised to continue to support the administration of Governor Ikpeazu because we are his people".

Responding, Ezem  assured the group that their message must surely be delivered to the governor without delay.

Recall that Movie stars, traditional rulers, Abians in diaspora and others had earlier called on the governor to recall Agbazuere.

Also, there have been speculations that the suspension of the Governor's  Chief of Staff may not have been unconnected  with a viral video wherein the CoS was seen spraying money on popular Onitsha prophet Dr. Chukwuemeka Ohaneme (aka Odumeje) during his visit to government house in Umuahia,
