In what could be described as the first music carnival in Nigeria for the year 2021, some of the best artists in the Nigeria entertainment industry Stormed Umuahia the capital City of Abia state on January 1, 2021.
The musicians ranging from gospel to hip hop singers who were greeted with cheers from their fans visited the Abia seat of Power for the birthday celebration of Mr Kenneth Nnamdi Okeagu, the Founder of CONNAK foundation.
The Night event started with gospel praises which lifted the souls of the celebrant and his guests to profuse worship, the like rendered in mega Pentecostal churches in Nigeria.
Leading in the gospel session were no less worship leader than Tim Godfrey and Network who rendered his own gospel songs with the help of xazaphone and others.
Although it was not a night of speeches but, a popular cleric based in Umuahia Pastor Jerry Eze, offered electricifing prayers for the celebrant, asking God to bless his all endeavors.
The event which was well attended saw the celebrant cutting three sets of cakes with his family members, friends and staff of CONNAK foundation.
As guests were being served with food and drinks, the stage became hot with comedy, singing and dances.
The guest were first of all thrilled with jokes from a popular comedian Kenny Blacq, IGoyan baba,MC Funny, MC Bone, and MC Amana. Followed shortly after the Jokes were songs from the Likes of T.J,(Elewu uku) Pastorianking and Phyno.
The ceremony which attracted attendants from all walks of life had dignitaries like the member representing the Umuahia North state constituency in the Abia state House of Assembly Hon. Kelechi Onuzuruike, the PG Ohuhu welfare union Chief Obi Aguocha, Chief Longman Nwachukwu, Hon Acho Obioma, Chief Emeka Obike, Dr. Azubuike Onyebuchi, the medical director Federal medical center Umuahia and others.
CONNAK foundation has empowered 10,000 persons in skill acquisition, scholarship ranging from primary to University, provided solar street light and sunk bore wholes among other Charity jobs within ten years of its existence in Abia state.
