Youths intensify quest for real inclusiveness in governance

Youths in Abia state  used the Easter Bunny celebration to intensify and drum support for their quest for real  inclusiveness in the country's governance describing the extant scenario as mockingly unjust and inequitable.

The youths under the aegis of Maduforo Youth Movement ( MYM)  during a meeting yesterday at Umuahia Abia state capital, which featured inauguaration of their Umuahia South LGA Chapter executives said;

" MYM has come to introduce many innovations in Abia state especially in Leadership Inclusiveness, Entrepreneurship,  ICT and Agriculture".

They noted that while  the state governor Okezie Ikpeazu included few youths in his appointments, only three and fifteen youths emerged as LG deputy Chairmen and  Councillors in the last December state LG poll.

Coordinator of the Movement Comrade Joshua Ihuoma said that through effective inclusiveness in governance, youths would take their destiny in their own hands.

" The era of youths looking up to politicians is gone. Youths should now  decide what they want and with passion legitimately do the needful to actualize it".

They urged political parties to field  youths  whose age range should be 18 and 45 years for elective offices.

 Chairman of the  Umuahia South LGA Traditional Rulers Council Eze Stephen Ihuoma who was special guest of honor,  admonished the youths to use the opportunity they have which their fore parents did not have, to develop the country and enthrone unity, justice and equity in the country.

" You should make the best of this opportunity, do not ever attempt to allow yourselves to be used by politicians rather,  you should legitimately pursue justice, national cohesion, egalitarianism and  fairplay".
