The President Nigeria Union of Journalists, Comrade Chris Isiguzo, today (Friday) paid a condolence visit to the family of a deceased former president of the Union, Comrade Bonnie Iwuoha, at his private Residence in Umuahia, the Abia State capital.
Isiguzo, described the deceased unionist as a great leader in the Nigeria journalism spectrum, vowed that the union will always identify with his family despite his departure.
The National president who was received by the deceased's widow Mrs. Aisha Iwuoha, was accompanied by the Chairman Abia State council of NUJ Comrade Victor NDUKWE for the visit.
Others on the President's Entourage were a former chairman of the Union in Abia State Comrade Hyacinth Okoli, a former National officer of the Union Ezeogo Boniface Okoro and members of the union in Abia state.
Iwuoha, a former media aide and a commissioner for information in Abia state was a devout Christian and a community leader.
He passed on Monday December 20, 2021 in Umuahia, after a brief illness. May God Grant His Soul Eternal Rest, Amen.
