A group, Orji Uzor Kalu Speaks fans international has staged a ' one million march with the theme, OUK for President come 2023.
The one million march by the group was staged round major streets of Umuahia including popular Isi gate and Umuwaya road where the the crowd was thrown into frenzy.
Speaking to newsmen at APC secretariat in Umuahia at Azikiwe road, after the rally, the coordinator of the one million march, Hon Josiah Kalu said that the group organised the march to follow the examples of other sections of the country that have called on OUK to come and contest for President, come 2023.
Hon Kalu described Kalu as the best candidate for the President going by his enviable records and experience in administration and politics without bitterness as well as his developmental strides.
Similarly, the spokesman of the group, Chief Ajero Ugwagwu described OUK as a golden fish that can not hide saying, " We have to energize him and mobilise the youths the youths for him."
The woman leader of the group. Mrs Regina Uzoma explained that the group is also mobilising the support of women for the Presidential aspiration of Kalu, urging Nigerians to throw their support for the Senate Chief Whip, irrespective of their party affiliation.
