Why I want represent my constituency in Abia Assembly- Appolos





The House of Assembly aspirant for Obingwa West State constituency Mr Enyinnaya Appolos, has said he would offer a responsible representation to his constituents if elected to represent them in the state Assembly in 2023.


He added that meeting the needs of constituents would also be his top priority as law maker.  


Appolos, spoke in his Isikor, Obi Mgboko Mbu country home, while declaring his intention
to contest the assembly seat
under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).


He Pointed out that he is prepared to meet every other aspirant on the field, just as he noted that he is in no way intimidated by other aspirants who are also contesting on the same platform.


He said,"I have told my people that I noticed a gap that I have the capacity to fill in our constitucy. we are going to go beyond the average. 


"We been having legislators who have done well, but they are still yearnings for a very responsive and accessible reprenstative at the state House of Assembly and that's a gap that I think I can fill very well, I'm accessible and my people can always see me whenever they want to see me.


"No one has endorsed me, but I'm  engaging with the leaders, stakeholders and the people on the street on my aspiration and I'm optimistic that they will give him the mandate represent".


Appolos, a professional Journalist and former Senior Special Assistance to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, on Media, added that he would work hard to restore the diginity of Nigeria Journalists if elected into the state assembly.


Encouraging his ambition, the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, urged Appolos, not to relent in efforts at engaging his constituents to support his aspirations.


Abaribe said the constitucy deserves the best representation irrespective of who gets the party's ticket, while urging the people to make the right choice.


He however expressed the hope that Appolos will make a good legislator if given the opportunity.


The Chairman, Chief Executive of Magic FM, Elder Eziuche Ubani, urged Appolos not to be afraid of the journey and assured him of his support.
