Chief Chris Akachukwu, has emerged the Action Peoples Party candidate of the Umuahia North State constituency for the 2023 general election.
Akachukwu,popularly known as
(Nwa-Abia), was returned unopposed during a primary election conducted by APP in Umuahia the Abia State capital on Tuesday.
The primary election which was supervised by the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) officials held at the party's state Secretariat on Azikwe road.
Others were elected includes
Rev Victor C. Chikwe, for Osisioma Ngwa North State constituency,
Hon Israel Okwuonwu, Obingwa East constituenc
The rest are Madukwe Chidi Isuikwuatu state constituency and
Ikechukwu Christains Ochiobi for
Bende South constituency.
