There was great jubilation in Mbawsi, Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area of Abia State on Saturday when Hon. Emeka Atuma's Campaign team visited the country home of Rt. Hon Martins Azubike, the Leader of the All Progressive Congress in the LGA.
Atuma, who is the APC Abia Central Senatorial zone candidate was in the LGA for a consultation and familiarization visit with the party faithfuls.
He task the party members to remain united and resolute to win the forthcoming general election.
Atuma, thanked the party faithful for coming out en mass and assured them he will offer a quality representation to the people of Abia central zone at the Senate if elected.
He emphasizes that it was very important to vote for all the APC candidates in all the elective positions they were running for in forthcoming general election.
In his remarks Azubuike, a former speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly urged the APC stakeholders in the area to work hard and win the election for the party to grow in the state.
He appealed to the party faithfuls to show capacity and cooperation among themselves, adding that APC has come to change the bad government that kept them in dark.
Azubuike, also tasked them to eschew all manners of rancor and go into the grassroots and bring out more people to join the Party.
Hon. Donatus Nwamkpa the former APC state chairman in the state thanked the party faithfuls and assured them that APC is one and "they are working hard to win the state.
He added that the party's reconciliatory committee was working hard to ensure of inclusiveness within the party.
The APC Isiala Ngwa North Party Chairman also thank the campaign team and also all the party excos that they shall remain as one party even if he was asked to step down in the course of reconciliation.
