A group known as the Neo Black Movement Of Africa (NBM) has renovated a burnt hall within the premises of the Criminal Investigation department under the Abia State Police command in Umuahia.
Recall that the state CID premises was set ablaze last year, when unknown gun men attacked the unit.

on Wednesday handed over the renovated facility and some set of office furniture to the immediate past commissioner of the police in the state, AIG Janet Agbede.
He said NBM OF AFRICA UMUAHIA
had embarked on the project to contribute her quotas to 'the peace and harmony of Abia state, policy which is paramount to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.
Ezeanyagu, also congratulated Agbede, for her promotion to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police, saying it was a clear evidence of hard, adding that "the reward for work is more work".
"Your promotion should not just be seen from a professional point of view but also from a social perspective as an outstanding example and inspiration to the Girl Child. You are welcome ma", he said.
He revealed that the NBM of Africa Worldwide is a movemer, whose aims include the promotion and advancement of the black race all over the world.
According to him "The movement believes in one black race. In addition, NBM is a socio-cultural organization that sincerely seek to
revive, retain and modify where necessary those aspects of African culture that should provide vehicles of progress for the global populace.
"As a responsible organization, we the members of NBM of Africa Umuahia zone in keeping with our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)-in nation building and giving back to the seciciy has always in the past done charity works, like orphanage visitations and school rchabilitations, but this time around we undertook this project to complement the efforts of A.I.G Janet Agbede and His Excellency Okezie Victor Ikpeazu PhD.
"The money used for this project was raised from within us without external support. But we will be asking for your support in due course as we will be embarking on the construction of our Zonal House (Arena) in Umuahia.
"We want to assure the Nigeria police, the other security agencies and the Abia State Government that we are partners in progress in atttaining peace and security and in nation building and we promise them that their selfless service to the nation will always be appreciated and we want to reecho thet the police is our friend".
Ezeanyagu also commended the
National President NBM Olorogun ESE KAKOR, for his support to the Umuahia zone all through the time they where handling the project.
In her remarks Agbede, commended the NBM Africa Umuahia zone for remembering the police her trying time.
She called the on other well meaning individuals to assist security agents in the country in the fight against crimes and criminality.
