Ex Minister Ogah, vows to reposition Abia ahead of 2023 guber election

The immediate past Minister of state for mines and steel development chief Uche Ogah, has vowed to take the development of Abia state to a greater height if elected the governor of the state in 2023.

Ogah, was pronounced the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress by Justice Binta Nyanko of the federal High Court Abuja Last Friday in a matter challenging the candidature of chief Ikechi Emenike.

Speaking on Wednesday at the Sam. Mbakwe Cargo airport, Ogah, said there will be no delays in soliciting for the support of Abia electorate to enable him win the 2023.

He said, "we are ready to take over Abia in 2023 and reorganize the state for the good of our people.In line with our manifestos, we think outside the box in order to change the narrative in Abia state. 

"God gave me victory in the primary, you can see that the victory has started. I will come out better in the 2023 general election than what was the case in 2019.

The campaign progress has started  immediately the game has changed because the either Abia now know that APC now has a candidate.

"In terms of the practical campaign, within the week, we are going to set out all the strategies. All the planning and election campaign committees and campaign council and everything will be set up.

"I can tell you that if I take over Abia state in one year you will see the difference, because I have the capacity, competency, credibility and connectivity to bring all that it takes to move Abia forward.

"Abia APC is one, we going to organize and bring everybody together. As one family and we will strive to take over Abia state".
