Abia State Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, has assured the people of Abia south senatorial district of quality representation if elected as the senator to represent the zone in 2023.
Ikpeazu, insisted that he would prove those who claim that there were no dividends of Democracy to attract from the Senate wrong.
He spoke during the flag-off his campaign as the Peoples Democratic Party candidate for the senatorial district in Aba on Friday.
He pointed out the 2023 general election campaigns is going along with the commissioning of projects to prove to the people that his government has been busy working for them.
He said, "We are going to serve our people, we will ask questions about the deplorable state of Aba/Port Harcourt, Aba/Ikot Epene road.
"We will also questions on why the Nigerian Customs services will follow our people to the ware house to check their goods after clearance at the Wharf".
The PDP chairman in the state Chief Asiforo Okere, said Ikpeazu is the best product of the party because of his commitment in delivering the dividends of Democracy to Abia people.
He said, "The reward for a good job is more work, you have done well our dear governors and best place for you to go now is the Senate, because you the capacity, experience, the intellectual ability, the connections and reach to represent your people.
"We know that you will do more and we want you to go ahead and do more for your, there's no better place for you to go than the Senate.
"This is your time and season for you to represent your people. All those things that requires federal might, this is the opportunity to do them".
